ASA NATIONAL MASTERS INTER COUNTY MEET MACCLESFIELD LEISURE CENTRE NOVEMBER 15TH 2008
The County Masters team travelled across the Pennines to Macclesfield Leisure Centre to compete in the regional round of the National Masters Inter County Meet.
Having won the regional round on the past few occasions and been highly placed in the National event expectations were high but with the Cheshire team on home ground and fielding an experienced team it was always going to be hard.
In the end it was Cheshire who claimed the Willmott Dixon Trophy with a total of 285 points. They were closely followed by the Yorkshire Team with 248 points. Arch rivals Lancashire claimed third place with 199 points followed by Northumberland and Durham with 170 and Cumbria bringing up the rear with 58 points.
